Are you going to be caught off guard by Valentine's Day again?

Another year, the date of love and friendship is about to arrive. In recent years, rumors have grown that it's a celebration without much substance and with a lot of posturing since you should appreciate your loved ones every day of the year.

Personally, receiving a gift (on February 14th or not) is a gesture of affection and interest because it involves ingenuity and taking the time to decide what you might like to receive. Today, I'm going to give you 2 key ideas to succeed in giving gifts, whether it's Valentine's Day or not, and following the theme of this blog: beautifully and economically.

1. Keep it simple.

We've become accustomed to seeing posts on social media with big bouquets, 2-meter tall teddy bears, etc. but is it necessary? In my opinion, no, because as the saying goes, "Less is more".

If you want to give a simple and beautiful gift, flowers are always a good option: traditional red roses, tulips, or even an orchid in your preferred color for the more adventurous. 2. Enjoy together.

This point is undoubtedly my favorite because I remember the first gifts I gave (and the headaches they gave me), and I tended to think in a very one-sided way. Over the years, I've discovered that my favorite detail is to plan an occasion to spend time with that person you appreciate so much, and I'm not talking about trips or multi-adventures (or maybe I am, depending on personal preference) but rather simple dates in a beautiful place.

My go-to plan is a beach picnic consisting of delicious appetizers, a cheese board (I show you how in my previous post), a little wine, and good company; this is the perfect formula for enjoying good company.
